Paris on the water!
Trendy, Gastro, Family, Cultural and Romantic: 5 ways to live Paris on the water!
TRENDY: LES MAQUEREAUX
For the beautiful summer evenings, go to "Les Maquereaux"! This lively barge with its cheerful and laughing sounds offers good fresh dishes to share. On a bench, on a table on the large terrace or on the upper deck with a magic view, seafood is the highlight: Brittany oysters, mayo whelks, smoked fish... but also burrata or delicatessen so good, all served with a glass of rosé or a revised spritz. Mouth-watering, isn’t it?
And last minute info: a little brother is to arrive soon on the banks of the Marne! We'll tell you more about it on Rue Amandine soon!
GASTRONOMIC : DUCASSE SUR SEINE
Ducasse can’t shine at Jules Verne’s Eiffel Tower Restaurant anymore? No problem! It is at the foot of the Iron Lady that he has taken up residence. During 2 hours, you will have the chance to sail while tasting gastronomic dishes and this in a quiet and peaceful surrounding as the boat is 100% electric! Gourmet and responsible : an exclusive French experience as we like them!
FAMILY : LES MARINS D’EAU DOUCE
Embark with your family on a small electric boat, which everyone can enjoy driving! Go on an adventure and push the gates of Paris by continuing to sail beyond the capital: street art, urban landscapes and towpaths are to ben discovered along the canals.
ROMANTIC : LE MURANO
Come aboard of a magnificent Venetian boat made in Italy. Take a seat at the back and let yourself be led to the foot of the main monuments of Paris with a glass of champagne and a gourmet basket (Rue Amandine takes care of everything:-)
A pampering crew and a delightful aperitif : So romantic! And you will see that even without its arrow, Notre-Dame is majestic!
CULTURAL : FLUCTUART
In a very few days we will be able to discover the first floating urban centre located between the Grand Palais and the Invalides: FLUCTUART. Launched as part of the "Réinventer la Seine" project, it highlights the greatest French and international urban artists. Visits of the permanent and temporary exhibitions will be free. A bar open will be available for snacks and sips from 12pm to midnight . We visited the construction site last week: the temporary exhibition is already in place, the bar almost fixed, the roof top flooded with sunshine! Last adjustments and it opens up. We look forward to it!
